What you get

Everything an OPD runs on, in one place

Built for how Indian clinics actually work — walk-ins, token numbers, shared family phone numbers, pre-printed letterhead and all.

℞

Prescriptions

Search by brand or by generic — whichever you prefer. Frequency, food timing, duration and quantity in two taps. Schedule H, H1 and X handled correctly.

அ

Regional languages

Print in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada or Bengali beside the English. Every instruction is human-translated and pharmacist-reviewed — never machine-translated.

◷

Appointments & queue

Online booking, walk-in insertion, token numbers and a live waiting list. A display screen for your waiting room.

▤

EMR

Visit notes typed or dictated, vitals, diagnosis, problem list, allergies and a chronological timeline across every visit.

⌕

Labs & imaging

Raise lab, X-ray, ECG and scan orders on your letterhead. Enter results or attach the report. Trends across visits.

☓

Pharmacy

Your pharmacist sees the queue, marks each item dispensed, and prints the slip. No stock management to maintain.

◑

Front desk

Register patients, schedule appointments, manage the queue and print — without access to your clinical notes.

☺

Patient portal

Patients book, view past prescriptions, download reports and upload their own. Family members under one login.

✎

Your letterhead

Upload your logo. Your name, qualifications, registration number and clinic details print exactly as you set them — or suppress the header if you use pre-printed stationery.

Getting started

Four steps, about ten minutes

  1. RegisterYour name, qualifications, specialty, medical council registration number and clinic details. We verify your email and mobile.
  2. We verify youOur team checks your registration against your council record. Usually within one working day. You will get an email and a message when you are approved.
  3. Set up your letterheadUpload your logo, choose A4, A5 or thermal, and pick the language your patients read. Preview before you print.
  4. See your first patientRegister them in five seconds with just a name and mobile number. Everything else can wait until later.

Why we verify every consultant

Anyone can sign up for most software. Prescribing is different — a prescription is a legal document, and the registration number printed on it is a claim about who you are.

So RxMedvel checks every consultant's medical council registration before their account can prescribe anything. It takes us a day. It means every prescription that leaves this platform came from a doctor who is actually registered to write it.

Front desk and pharmacy staff are invited by you, not by us — you decide who works in your clinic.

Pricing

Free while we are building it with you

Every feature, no per-patient charge, no card. We are working with early consultants to get this right, and your feedback is the price. If we introduce paid plans later, you will hear it from us well in advance — and early clinics will be looked after.

Questions

Fair things to ask

Where is my patients' data stored?

In Mumbai, on Google Cloud. Nothing clinical leaves India. Every access to a patient chart is logged with who opened it and when, and those logs are stored in a form that cannot be altered afterwards — including by us.

Can I prescribe by generic name instead of brand?

Yes, and you can set that as your default. Search works both ways — type "Augmentin" or type "amoxiclav" and you will find the same thing. The printed prescription shows both.

Are the regional-language translations reliable?

They are not machine translations. Every instruction comes from a fixed vocabulary of about two hundred phrases, translated by people and reviewed by a clinical pharmacist in that language. Drug names and numbers always stay in English so your pharmacist can dispense from the same sheet. If a language has not been signed off yet, the system will not print in it.

Do I need to buy a printer or any hardware?

No. It runs in your browser and prints to whatever printer you already have — A4, A5, or an 80mm thermal roll. If you print on pre-printed letterhead, there is a setting to suppress our header block.

Is there a mobile app?

The web version works on a phone browser today. Native apps for patients and for consultants are being built on the same system, so nothing you enter now will need re-entering later.

What happens if my internet drops mid-consultation?

Drug search keeps working — the common medicines are stored in your browser. Anything you have typed is held locally and syncs when you reconnect.

Can I get my data out?

Yes, at any time, in a standard health-records format. It is your patients' data and your practice's record. We are also building towards ABHA and ABDM so records can move properly between providers.
